TAKE CONTROL OF YOUR PROCESS

College recruiting is a difficult process, but If your goal is to play collegiate baseball that goal will be realized. Our five-tiered approach is designed to help you take control of your process.   It starts the first day of your freshman year in high school and continues through your first day as a collegiate athlete.

Our program has 5 components:

1) Identification
2) Training
3) Measurement
4) Advising
5) Marketing

Each plays an important role in your process. No two recruiting journeys are the same, so each component differs for each player. This is where we help!  You can save thousands of dollars and countless hours by first understanding your projectability as a student-athlete and second by taking the appropriate time to chart a smart course to pursue your goal

We'll help make sense of it!

Identification
~initial evaluation: physical, academic, emotional
~understanding of strengths and weaknesses
~creation of smart goals

Player evaluations and goal creation occur in December, January, and February.  Each player will participate in a 30-minute interview with our team leaders gauging individual character, discipline, and work ethic. Players will be asked to discuss strengths and weaknesses on the diamond and in the classroom as we prepare SMART goals for the upcoming year

  Training
~creation and  implementation of skill routines
~creation and implementation of strength and speed routines
~advise on diet and supplements
~identify smart goals and secure proper facilities to achieve those goals

Program directors will assist players in creating skill training routines for hitting, pitching, and performance/speed development.  Late evening time will be open to players in the Mets Training Facility (North Branford) and Core Training Facility (Orange) to execute routines throughout the calendar year.  Additionally, players will receive guidance on dietary and supplement advice.

SMART training goals will be outlined to help players achieve measurable goals in exit velocity, throwing velocity, spin rates, strength, and speed

Measurement
~Provide an understanding of how college coaches use measurement: physical & academic
~Create multiple opportunities to record running, hitting, and throwing measurement
~Assist in helping players catalog academic and athletic measurement

Program Directors for the Mets and Gators will conduct bi-annual reviews of academic transcripts in both August and December as well as bi-annual testing in the areas of running, throwing, and hitting

Advisory
~Provide seminar series to educate parents and players on the rules and nuances of college recruiting, college coach evaluative approaches, and communication techniques to enhance your value as a prospect
~Consistent evaluation of skill level and smart individual college choices that match skill levels
~Assistance identifying appropriate institutional camps and showcases

Program directors will conduct 3 yearly recruiting seminars outlining critical aspects of the recruiting process. Topics will include important recruiting dates, financial aid, scholarships, important measurable statistics, institutional camps, showcases, and communication with college coaches

Marketing

~Provide references to speak to your abilities as a student-athlete
~Provide tutorial on the uses of social media outlets helping to create evaluative opportunities
~ Understanding of budget restraints to maximize evaluative opportunities.
~Assistance in SMART routines when communicating with college coaches

Program Directors will outline effective ways of exposing your baseball ability to college coaches through social video, social media, college camps, showcases, and tournaments. Different  digital recruiting platforms designed to help organize and market student-athletes will be discussed and analyzed

Program Directors will serve as points of contact to college coaches at the DI II III levels and serve as important references to ability, projectability, and character
